Rotary is a global network of community volunteers with 31,000clubs in 165 countries.

They carry out service in their local communities addressing issue of poverty, health, hunger, illitracy and the environment.

Particularly in the developing world humanitarian grants support club projects to provide clean water, job training, medical supplies, youth development.

Each year 8000 secondary school students go on Rotary's Youth Exchange Programme.

In collaboration with the World Health Organisation a ten year programme of Polio immunization has seen a 99% drop in cases. A fantastic world wide achievement.

Rotary Romney Marsh Club

Although we are a small club we like to think we are the best! With some 28 members we work throughout the year at various fund raising events and raise in the region of £10,000.

This we spend on a range of projects some of an international nature and others right here on the Marsh.
